• Take time to listen to your partner about how they are feeling. 
  • Your partner may take some time to adjust to spending time at home with a baby rather than being at work. It’s important they still have adult social interaction. 
  • Share housework and childcare duties so you have more time together as a couple. 
  • Lack of sleep can affect day to day activities and you or your partner may need to support each other in getting some sleep
