Using scripts helps you to relax your mind and body. Relaxations and breathing techniques can support you in labour and can help you to focus on your birth.

When listening to the scripts please make sure you are well supported either by a chair or your bed. We don’t advise listening to the audios while you’re in the bath or when you are driving.

Before your script begins. It’s a nice idea to practice some deep breathing, to relax your body and aid your relaxation.

Make yourself comfortable
Take a nice stretch
Close your eyes when you are ready
Inhale through your nose
Exhale through your mouth – your out breath should be longer, steadier and slower than your in breath. Continue with this breathing technique, making it comfortable and right for you.
