Mr Kovoor has had advanced Laparoscopic training from UK, France and Japan in the field of endometriosis, prolapse and oncology. He is currently employed as Consultant at Dartford and Gravesham NHS trust with clinical sessions at Darent Valley Hospital at Dartford and Queen Mary’s Hospital at Sidcup.

I was appointed as consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist and Lead for the Early Pregnancy Unit and Emergency Gynaecology in August 2009. I am widely experienced in general obstetrics and gynaecology. My special interests include early pregnancy disorders, emergency gynaecology, minimal access surgery and transvaginal ultrasound scanning. I am accredited by the RCOG in both laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery.

I am an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Darent Valley Hospital in Kent with overall experience of 28 years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am also an Honorary Consultant at the Assisted Reproductive Unit at Guy’s Hospital, London.

I have developed special expertise in infertility, assisted conception, laparoscopic and pelvic reconstructive surgery. I perform most of my hysterectomies laparoscopically or vaginally.

Mr Ahmed Khalil is the lead for labour ward in Darent Valley hospital. He has established a dedicated pre-tem clinic caring for women with a history of preterm delivery or late miscarriage. He also runs fetal medicine sessions in Darent Valley Hospital and is part of the  regional Fetal medicine Multi-disciplinary Team.

Mr Khalil also runs gynaecology clinic with special interest in menstrual problems and pelvic pain. 

Mr Khalil completed his training in Egypt and the UK and has been a consultant since 2019. He has several publications in peer review journals and he is a reviewer in 3 international journals. 

He is alumni of Harvard medical school as he completed Global Clinical Scholars Research Program in 2017.

I qualified from Leeds University in 1984 and received my post-graduate training in Yorkshire. I took up my post at Darent Valley in 2000. I have a special interest in the management of women with urinary incontinence and prolapse, running a multi-disciplinary clinic with a Specialist Nurse and a Physiotherapist. I also provide care for women with general gynaecological problems, offering minimally invasive treatments for a range of gynaecological conditions including heavy periods and endometriosis. I am the lead clinician for gynaecological cancers and run a weekly "Rapid Access Clinic" for women with symptoms suggestive of possible gynaecological cancer.

I am an experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist working as consultant at Darent Valley Hospital since 2013. I have had my training in obstetrics and gynaecology from premiere institutes in India and there after completed my specialist registrar training from East of England rotation.

My role is that of a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at Darent Valley Hospital, with a special interest in Maternal Medicine. I provide patient care for women with gynaecological concerns at Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup. 

I graduated from medical school in London. I completed my foundation year one post at Darent Valley Hospital. Having had a positive experience, mainly due to the friendly atmosphere, was one of the main reasons for me to take up my consultant post here.  

During my specialty training in the East of England region, I became am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. I have completed advanced training in Maternal Medicine in Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.  I also have qualifications in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and also Medical Education. I am especially passionate about teaching and addressing complex medical problems in pregnancy. 

My publication in the peer-reviewed journal The Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2018 was titled Fibroids in Pregnancy: Management and Outcomes. 

Darent Valley is the local hospital for both my family and I, and therefore I am keen to ensure that we provide the highest standards of care.

Miss Urmila Singh is a lead consultant for the Delivery Suite, Early Pregnancy Unit (EPU) and Diabetic Maternity Unit at Darent Valley Hospital. She is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, as well as being a general gynaecologist, her special interests include Urogynaecology (including Uterovaginal Prolapse), Colposcopy (and related procedures), Perineal birth injury, Vulval disease, Pelvic pain and Early pregnancy problems.

I qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School in 1990 and was a South East Thames Trainee until my appointment as consultant obstetrician at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup in 2001. I moved to Darent Valley in 2009 and have been the obstetric lead for perinatal mental health. I undertake a wide range of gynaecological procedures focusing on benign gynaecology for which I am a preceptor for the RCOG ATSM in benign gynaecology. In 2022 I became one of the few Kent-based British Menopause Society accredited menopause specialists.

I am a consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at Darent Valley Hospital NHS Trust. I completed my specialist registration while practicing in South-East London and Kent trusts.
As a gynaecologist I specialise in the treatment of acute and chronic gynaecological problems such as chronic pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, bleeding dysfunction, prolapse problems, incontinence issues via minimal access surgery, abdominal and vaginal surgery. My recent area of interest is to provide care for women with endocrine and, peri and postmenopausal problems.
I also look after women in early pregnancy, antenatal care, labour and postnatal period.
